China's Construction Industry Accelerates Global Expansion, Asia Housing Expo 2027 Builds Cross-Border Trade Matchmaking Platform

Date:2026-08-05

With the in-depth advancement of the Belt and Road Initiative and the growth of global infrastructure demand, China's construction industry is experiencing a boom in overseas expansion. Exports of prefabricated buildings, building materials, construction equipment, and engineering services continue to grow rapidly. Emerging markets such as the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Russia, and Africa have strong demand, and Chinese enterprises continue to increase their global market share with their complete industrial chain, outstanding cost-effectiveness, and fast delivery capabilities.

Asia Housing Expo 2027, relying on its mature international buyer invitation system, is expected to have international buyers from over 150 countries and regions in 2027. It will focus on inviting core procurement groups including Middle East infrastructure procurement delegations, Russian construction industry association delegations, Southeast Asian real estate developer groups, African government infrastructure procurement teams, and European green building buyers. The procurement demand covers all categories including prefabricated buildings, building materials, construction equipment, and components.

The expo will also host the Construction Industry Going Global Development Forum, inviting foreign trade experts, international certification bodies, and benchmark enterprises to share overseas market policies, compliance requirements, expansion paths, and risk prevention and control. A cross-border procurement matchmaking zone will be set up to provide one-on-one precise matchmaking services for international buyers and Chinese enterprises, building a core platform for cross-border trade in the construction industry. In the 2026 edition, international procurement achieved fruitful results, with over 60% of the total intended transaction volume coming from overseas orders. The 2027 edition will further improve the quality and quantity of international buyers.
